Fallout 4 gets perfect update for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC

Following the success of the Fallout series on Prime Video, Bethesda is giving Fallout 4 a big update for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

The Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video has been out for a few weeks now. And with rave reviews online and a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 93 percent, the post-apocalyptic series is certainly a big success.

With the success of this series, many fans are also joining video games (again). For example, the player-base of Fallout 4 has increased by more than 7,500 percent. Bethesda is therefore releasing the long-awaited Fallout 4 current-gen update for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X today.

The Fallout 4 update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X

Fallout 4 from 2015 is finally getting a long-awaited update for the latest consoles: the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, after the success of the Prime Video series. The update comes out tonight at 6 p.m. and is free to download.

In this current-gen update for Fallout 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X users all get new features for the post-apocalyptic game, such as a Performance and Quality mode. So Fallout 4 is getting a load of technical updates, as well as all kinds of other cool extras. These include free Creation Club content, such as pre-war items, weapons and armor. But also a Make-shift Weapons Pack, with all kinds of vague weapons like a nail gun and a baseball pitcher.

The success of the Fallout series on Prime Video has clearly breathed new life into the video game franchise. And PlayStation, Xbox and PC players are therefore being delightfully spoiled by Bethesda. As such, the Fallout 4 update gives the game much-needed improvements that fans of the franchise are very grateful for.
