Every month Sony sprinkles free games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The Japanese powerhouse does this in response to its PlayStation Plus subscription. But which canker will you be angling for in June 2023?
At the same time, you still have until June 6, 2023 to add May’s delicious free titles to your library. After that, it’s your turn to make sure you enjoy full bore with, among others, NBA 2K23.
These 3 PlayStation 5 games you’ll play for free in June 2023
Although I really love the NBA 2K series, I have to honestly admit that last year’s edition disappointed me a bit. Probably due to the amount of VC (in-game coins) you need to make something fun out of it. Anyway: the concept remains hugely bold and considering the game is free, I think it’s undoubtedly worth it.
By the way, in case that doesn’t quite suit you, you can also play the other two juggernauts. Sony is also dropping Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Trek to Yomi on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this month.
That first one is actually pretty cool, as you build your own Jurassic Park. Rollercoaster Tycoon with extinct animals, in other words. Dope!
Why you always want to get those games in
Of course, you may not currently have time to play the free PlayStation 5 games. Or maybe you don’t quite like them at the moment. But that doesn’t mean you should ignore them.
In fact, what Sony does incredibly well, and Microsoft (Xbox) does not, is that the games remain available as long as you remain a member. Just make sure you add the free titles to your library nicely every month.
To do this, go to the PlayStation Plus tab on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4, select one of the three titles and hit the “Add to Library” button. After that, you can find and download them anytime you want.
