Cheaper Samsung Galaxy S23 becomes a gift to your wallet

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a magisterial Android smartphone. A delightful design, powerful specifications and pleasant software make for a delightful experience. Just as well, since the device is anything but affordable.

Fortunately for us, the South Korean company seems to be working on a cheap alternative. While fans had to do without a Fan Edition last year, that seems to be happening again this year. Party in the wallet!

Samsung Galaxy S23, but cheaper

The Fan Edition: a smartphone series that combines the best of Samsung’s current flagship with an affordable price tag. Last year, the South Korean company decided to drop the edition. This year it is likely to return with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

Sources from reliable website SamMobile report that the Fan Edition is making its comeback. Armed with an Exynos 2200 processor, the Android smartphone will hit the market at the end of this year.

We don’t have an exact release date yet, but sources indicate that the cheaper Samsung Galaxy S23 will appear in the fourth quarter of 2023. Between October and November of this year, consumers will have the chance to score a cheap gem. Profit!

Specifications with a grain of salt

Should the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE actually appear at the end of this year, we will be early. Besides the fact that the Android smartphone is probably coming, we already know by now what we can roughly expect.

The Exynos 2200, a processor that was in the Galaxy S22, for example, is not the only detail to surface. For example, the Fan Edition also features the same 50-megapixel camera as the Samsung Galaxy S23. In addition, we can also expect 128GB or 256GB of storage capacity and 6GB or 8GB of working memory.

Anyway, what I said: we are incredibly early this time. So be sure to take the news with a grain of salt and enjoy with appropriate enthusiasm. Before you come home in winter with your Christmassy bottoms out cold.
