More Privacy on your iPhone
Apple is giving you even more control over your privacy. You can lock an app, making it accessible only by Face ID or a code. That way no one can just get in.
In addition, you can also hide apps. You can then put them in a secret folder and lock it.
You choose which contacts can see an app. This way, not everyone can add you like on WhatsApp, for example.
Renewals for the Messages and Mail app
There are also a lot more options with messages on your iPhone. For example, in the fall you will have more options for tapbacks. It is now possible to use emoji.
In addition, it is also possible to create scheduled messages. That way they arrive when you want them to. For example, you’ll never forget a birthday again.
You can customize the way messages are sent even easier. For example, you have special text effects to make your message even more powerful.
It will soon also be possible to send messages via satellite, so not only emergency messages anymore. So you can easily send messages when you have no coverage.

Other apps getting major updates
Apple Maps gets new topographic maps, giving you an even better view of the surrounding area. With Wallet, you now have Tap to Cash. This lets you quickly transfer money to another person just by holding your iPhone. Tickets for events also look nicer.
The Diary app gets some new features, such as your goals, your calendar and others.
Your iPhone also gets a special gaming mode, so you can play even better games. Thus, images should be even smoother and you will play with less lag and have the best performance.
The iPhone Photo app has been redesigned
The Photo app is getting an ideal feature to better organize your photos. A special new design has been created for this purpose. With a special filter, you can easily select the kind of photos you want.
A space below the grip will contain special collections. These are divided into all kinds of subjects. That way you can see the photos you care about the most. At the touch of a button, you share them immediately with friends and family.
In addition, the app also filters even more by faces. So you can very easily see the most liked people. First you still had to add persons yourself, but now it recognizes them automatically.
