In March, Nothing launched the Phone (2a) and soon we can expect a new one from the brand. This is the CMF Phone 1.
Nothing has shown the first images of the CMF Phone 1. This smartphone, given the name, is a completely new line for the company.
Nothing has yet to release all the technical details about the smartphone, but quite a few have already been leaked. What can you expect from the newest addition after the Phone (2a) from Nothing?
This is the Nothing CMF Phone 1
The Nothing CMF Phone 1 will be the company’s cheapest smartphone to date. According to rumors, this one will cost 199 euros converted.
That puts Nothing’s smartphone in the lower price range, but what exactly do you get for it? Under the hood is a Dimensity 7300 processor and 16 GB of RAM. Furthermore, under the hood you will also find a 5,000 mAh battery. So that seems to give you 22 hours of continuous use. So in practice, you will need to recharge it once every two days.

Nothing revealed in an earlier post on X that it is opting for a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. So this will allow you to scroll smoothly through all your menus. HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 2000 nits ensure that you can watch your favorite movie and series just fine even in the sun.
The main camera on the back comes from Sony and has a 50 megapixel lens. Unfortunately, the company did not yet reveal what sensor is on the inside and what additional (software) features it has.
Playing with the outside
The appearance of the smartphone is special, but that was already in the expectation. Nothing always gives its products a unique design and again seems to have succeeded.
For example, there is a special pin on the bottom of the device. The image shows that you can use that pin to tie a cord to it, or to put the smartphone at a 45-degree angle. It also seems possible to add an extra battery on the outside, although that could possibly be a wallet. Unfortunately, that is not easy to see in the photo.

It is also possible to unscrew the exterior of the device and replace it with a different color. Nothing has already revealed that we can expect black, mint green, dark blue and orange.
We will have to wait a little longer for all the details about Nothing’s new smartphone. The company will announce these during its Community Update on July 8.
