Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 seems to really tackle biggest minput after all

Although its predecessor is currently the best foldable clamshell smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 seems to have its affairs in better shape. A new leak regarding the Android phone points to a downside that finally seems to be tackled.

We still have months to wait for the Samsung Galax Z Flip 5 and the Galax Z Fold 5, but rumors surrounding the phones are flying around our ears. Will Samsung finally address the pain points we’ve secretly been dealing with for a few years now?

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 finally does it!

Reliable website SamMobile indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will finally feature a larger screen. Obviously not on the inside of the Android phone, but rather on the outside. A problem that many users ran into in recent years anyway.

If the current model is folded down you are left with a small 1.9-inch AMOLED display. Big enough to display a few small things like notifications or time, but certainly not enough to actually use the device. So the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 changes that.

As with the OPPO Find N2 Flip, the display will take up almost a full half. This makes it easier for users to navigate, take pictures or make quick notes.

To clarify exactly what that will look like, the folks at SamMobile commissioned renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

More colors = more better

Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young jumps on the news today. The reliable analyst knows what color options will accompany Samsung’s two new foldable smartphones in 2023.

For example, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in beige, gray, light green and light pink. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 in beige, black and light blue.

Z Fold 5 Colors:
Beige, Black and Light Blue
I am sure they will have some good flashy names when launched along with some bespoke and lower volume colors.

Of course, chances are very slim that Samsung will stick with this simple one. The South Korean company typically provides its Android phones with rugged color options like “ohmine sky blue” and “chalky gray. Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but you get my point.
