Secret button iPhone 15 Pro (or older) is chock-a-block for Apple fans

Your iPhone 15 Pro has a button on the back that no one can see. A secret button, we could call it. The best part: it’s not only available for Apple’s latest smartphone.

Meanwhile, we can no longer call the secret button, which also goes by the name Back Tap, a hidden feature. Nor is it really a trick anymore. But in general, it is a tip that I would give to most people.

For the past four months, I have been using the iPhone 15 Pro daily and doing my best to find the best tips, tricks and hidden features. As far as I’m concerned, this one really shouldn’t be missed.

The secret button of the iPhone 15 Pro

You read it right: the iPhone 15 Pro, but probably also the older model you have in your pocket, has a secret button. Meet the Back Tap feature, also known as Tapping Back.

Using this accessibility feature, it is possible to link functions to taps on the back of your Apple smartphone. For example, two taps to turn on your flashlight and three taps to open the camera app. Ideal.

To get this done, follow these steps:

Go to Settings
Select Accessibility
Select Touch
Tap Back

Here it is possible to link a preprogrammed function to an action (Double tap or Triple tap). You can also use the Commands app to create or select your own commands, which you can then link to the taps.
