We can already say that Hogwarts Legacy is among the three best games of the year. In fact, if my colleague Mark is to be believed, there really isn’t anything better coming. Harry Potter fans, like him, however, now have something extra to look forward to.
This is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions
Indeed, a new Harry Potter game is coming. One that highlights something that we did miss a bit in Hogwarts Legacy. We are, of course, talking about Quidditch.
WB Games is coming out with Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. The publisher calls it a fast-paced competitive multiplayer that will be available for PC and consoles.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is not being made by Hogwarts Legacy studio Portkey Games. Instead, Unbroken Studios is working on it. A relatively unknown creator best known as a studio contributing to the development of Suicide Squid: Kill the Justice League.
The project has been several years in the making and probably explains why we won’t see Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy. WB Games would rather make it a full game than a part of a game. Plus, of course, it brings in extra money.
