Twitter turns X and local residents in San Francisco go crazy over it

Last week, Elon Musk suddenly changed the name of Twitter; now it’s called X. And aside from the fact that Twitter users are pissed and just keep calling it Twitter, Musk is now also arguing with neighbors.

Suppose you live in an extremely expensive but nice apartment and some crackpot plops a fire tower in front of your window. That’s exactly what happened when Twitter was changed to X.

Elon Musk gets it done again

What’s the big deal? To celebrate that the new name is now X, Musk has had the familiar blue bird removed from the headquarters. In its place is a brightly burning cross on the roof. And much to the annoyance of local residents, this monstrosity also flashes.

Clearly, then, people are extremely angry with Elon Musk. Speaking with KTVU, Christopher Beale who lives across the street from the building stated, “Around 11 o’clock last night they had the thing on full power, flashing, and it lit up this whole area like it was daylight. Even with the curtains closed, we couldn’t even watch the movie we wanted in the living room and we had to move to the other side of the apartment.”

Permit or not?

There is also a review of whether the proper permit has been applied for. In fact, San Francisco has very strict rules when it comes to this type of business.

“Any replacement letter or symbol requires a permit to ensure consistency with the historic character of the building. It also ensures that additions are securely attached to the sign,” said Patrick Hannan, spokesman for the Department of Building Inspection.

Twitter is not loading because you did not give permission.

Musk also appears to mock the owner of the building where Twitter is located, claiming that “police keep calling about our changes to the sign”

.Moreover, Elon Musk has responded to claims that Twitter should leave San Francisco. The city is said to be in a “downward spiral” as many large companies have moved away. However, Musk vowed to stay in the city and stated that “we will always be your friend.”
