Ubisoft is giving away a free Assassin’s Creed game this week. Not just any one, because it involves one of the favorite AC titles I’ve played in recent years. Time to make your move, because the promotion doesn’t last forever.
This morning I already briefly put it in The Quick Bite, our new column where we briefly share the latest news with you, but I think Ubisoft’s promotion deserves more attention. Those who want to enjoy Syndicate can do so for free for the next week.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is a delight
Those unfamiliar with Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate are in for a fantastic adventure. The 2015 game once again takes players back in time, this time taking them to the London of 1868. Exactly yes, the time of the industrial revolution.
The ninth installment in the beloved Assassin’s Creed franchise puts players in the shoes of twins, both of whom belong to the Assassin Society. The goal is simple: keep the city out of the hands of the Templars and make sure they don’t get their hands on a rare artifact.

As you play, you also encounter World War I in the form of flashbacks, adding another layer to the story that I personally like.
Although Syndicate with an average score of 76 (Metacritic) is not among the best titles in the franchise according to the vast majority of gamers, it is a personal favorite for me. The atmosphere of 1868 London, the collaboration between the twins and the story gave me a lot of pleasure.
Free to play thanks to Ubisoft
So it’s good to know that you can experience that same enjoyment, but this time completely for free. Ubisoft is offering Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate as a free game via the Ubisoft Connect Launcher.
To get it in, all you have to do is log in. The game will be available between Nov. 27 and Dec. 6 as a free download. So keep in mind that you must have claimed the game before next Wednesday.

So if you succeeded, you have a free title on your PC as of now. The game can be played at any time.
The best Assassin’s Creed games so far
For me personally, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is one of the titles from the franchise that I have been able to enjoy the most, but that is certainly not true for everyone.
