For the past four months, I’ve been using the iPhone 15 Pro daily to fully explore it, simply so I can introduce you to the best tips, tricks and hidden features. Apple announced the camera feature earlier, but surprisingly, few people actually get to use it.
Portrait on your iPhone, even if you didn’t plan on it
Anyone who uses the Portrait feature in the Camera app knows what it does. You select an object, point the camera at it, and the background is blurred. Ideal for taking product photos or, you might not expect it, portraits.
What’s new, however, is the fact that you can also add this effect after taking a photo. In the Photos app, you can edit a photo and then press the f icon there. Once you have done that, the app will convert your photo into a portrait and thus add a bokeh effect.
