Apple launched the iPhone 15 just last week. But the tech giant already seems to have plans for October. According to rumors, we can expect more new devices this month.
The company itself has not yet confirmed anything. Insiders claim, however, that Apple is hatching quite a few new releases.
Will Apple have an October event this year?
Apple occasionally holds a large public event in October to announce new products. At this time, it is not clear whether such an “October event” is planned. Let’s take a look at October events in past years:
2022: No October event.
2021: An event was held on Oct. 30 to introduce the M1 Pro and M1 Max MacBook Pro, new AirPods and new HomePod mini.
2020: Apple held an event on Oct. 13 to introduce the new iPhones and the HomePod mini.
2019: No October event.
2018: An event was held on Oct. 30 to announce the new MacBook Air, Mac mini and third-generation iPad Pro.
Apple holds the events to announce new models. So if rumors are to be believed, we may be in luck this year.
What might Apple announce in October?
Below are all the products Apple could announce at a possible October event.
New Macs
Mark Gurman, journalist and Apple expert, is one of the most reliable sources when it comes to new Apple updates. He brought that a new range of computers is coming with an M3 chip. They are likely to be unveiled at the end of this year. The models in question are: a new M3 iMac, M3 13-inch MacBook Air and M3 MacBook Pro.

New iPads
At least two iPad models are also in the works. In an episode of the “MacRumors Show podcast,” Gurman said that “an iPad Air model with improved specifications” is in development. Most likely with the M2 chip. But whether Apple will launch it as early as next month is not yet clear.
