Gmail is probably the Google app that iPhone users use the most. Now they can get even better with it.
Gmail is one of the most widely used email services in the world. It’s very easy to create an email address and easy to link to your Google account. If you have an Android device you can’t do without it, of course, but on the iPhone it’s a different story. Yet Apple users also know how to find the service. However, not everything went smoothly.
Focus Mode in iOS 15
One of the new features in iOS 15 is the so-called Focus Mode. Apple has developed the mode so that you can be focused on certain tasks. For example, you can choose who and which apps are allowed to disturb you and not disturb you per activity. There are different variants such as driving, gaming, relaxing, work and sleep. Yet not all apps work well with the new feature. Google is now going overboard with Gmail after all.
Gmail did not yet work with the new Focus Mode. Google has now taken measures in a blog. For example, you can now simply set whether you want to receive messages from your Google Chat or Gmail contacts when you have the feature turned on.

Gmail even better on your iPhone
The fact that precisely Google now supports the feature is very convenient. Many people receive important mail on their Gmail account and want to see it immediately when they receive it. So while you’re exercising, you can suddenly see when your package is delivered or when you receive a message from your employer.
The new feature is now available to all Google Workspace users. Fortunately, they are not the only ones who can use the feature. You can also use the new Gmail feature with your regular Google account.
