Samsung announces ‘budget version’ of Galaxy S23 and Tab S9

By now, the Galaxy FE line is unmissable in Samsung’s lineup. They are inspired by the company’s flagships but a lot cheaper. Now it is announcing the S23 FE.

For several years now, Samsung has been coming out with SE versions of products in the S line. It is no different with the S23, as the company has already announced the new models.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

Of course, the most appealing product in the line is the new Samsung Galaxy S23 SE. Of course, it has exactly the same appearance as the regular S23, but on the inside some things have changed.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED @X display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. On the back is a 50 MP wide-angle lens, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto camera. This one has 3X optical zoom.

This phone will come out in several eye-catching colors, including Mint, Cream, Graphite, City Blue Orange and Purple. You’ll have to wait a while, as they won’t be available in the Netherlands until early 2024.

More new SE products

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy S23 SE, the company has announced two other new products. The great thing is that they do come out earlier. In fact, they are available starting today.

For starters, there is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and FE+. The first has a 10.9-inch screen and the second variant 12.4-inches. They have an auto refresh rate of 90Hz. You can get them in Mint, Silver, Gray and Lavender colors. The S9 FE has a starting price of 529 euros and the FE+ is going to cost you at least 699 euros.

Also coming from Samsung are Galaxy FE Buds. These have active noise cancellation and Ambient Sound. They do this through a system of three microphones and an AI-driven Deep Neural Network. When you order the Galaxy FE Buds, you get three different attachments included. The earbuds are available in Graphite and White and cost $109.
