First trailer Grand Theft Auto VI a reality, but the game won’t be released until 2025

Rockstar Games has released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI earlier than expected. What exactly do the first official images of the game teach us?

Grand Theft Auto VI is without a doubt one of the most talked about games ever. While the patience of The Elder Scrolls fans is also already fairly tested, fans of the iconic Rockstar franchise need a little more patience.

Last night, the long-awaited first trailer for GTA VI was released, and what does it turn out to be? The title will not appear next year, but only the following year.

Grand Theft Auto VI gets its first trailer

Meet Grand Theft Auto VI: already the most talked about game of 2025. After more than 10 years, fans are finally introduced to the long-awaited sequel to GTA V.

In a minute and a half, we get to know Lucia, the first female protagonist of the franchise. After getting out of prison, she and her boyfriend decide to once again make the streets unsafe.

Bonnie & Clyde seems to be the style, Vice City is the setting. But it doesn’t stop there, according to Rockstar Games. Grand Theft Auto VI is this time set in Leonida, the state in which the iconic city is located. According to Rockstar Games, however, it offers the most immersive experience GTA has ever had.

🤔

Isn’t that trailer sooner than expected?

Yes, Rockstar Games has brought out the trailer for GTA VI earlier than expected despite the advertising over the past few days. In fact, the first images had already leaked online, so the developer had to act quickly.

In 2025 for PlayStation and Xbox (but…)

Although the trailer is not very long, we do learn a few things. For example, we know that we won’t get to work on Grand Theft Auto VI until next year, but the year after that.

Interestingly, Rockstar Games lets us know that the game will then only appear on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (or S). Gamers with a PC in the house will therefore have to be patient for a while.

This is nothing new, by the way, because when Rockstar released GTA V, the PC version of the game also had to wait a year and a half.
