Although at WWDC 23 we already saw the Apple Vision Pro and various features of iOS, watchOS and all other operating system, many people are looking forward to the presentation of the iPhone 15 more than anything else, but what can it and all the other gadgets Apple is announcing. Apple Watch Series 9
First up is the Apple Watch Series 9. In terms of appearance, it doesn’t seem to have changed a bit. Still, there is plenty of news. Among other things, there will now be a pink model. Inside is the S9 chip. It has 5.6 billion transistors, giving it considerably better performance. Also, the GPU is also considerably faster.

The screen of the Apple Watch 9 has a brightness of 2,000 nits. Moreover, the second-generation ultra-wideband chip will make it even easier to track the watch.
On a full battery, the device will last 18 hours. Siri also works considerably faster on the new model due to the neural engine on the device. This also makes it more accurate. in addition, you can now ask Siri about your health, a new feature. First only in English and Mandarin, but later other languages should support this as well.
Double Tap
Another new feature is also coming to Apple Watch. The company calls it Double Tap. By pinching your thumb and index finger, you can take a phone call, for example. So you don’t have to touch the Apple Watch to control it. It also lets you control the crown and scroll through your widgets.
Through the algorithm, the Apple Watch knows what you mean by the movement. Double Tap will be available starting next month.
Apple bets full on recycling
Recycled raw materials are being used for the Series 9. Think cobalt, gold, aluminum and tin. In addition, Apple wants to emphasize that it uses 100 percent green energy to produce the Apple Watch. It is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product. It is available starting at 449 euros.

In addition, Apple is coming out with a new strap. It calls it FineWoven. It gives a suede feel but is not leather, which is better for the environment. In addition, it is again partnering with Hermes for four more straps for the Apple Watch. These are in striking colors. With Hermes’ special dial, it completes the look. The Nike straps are also made from recycled materials.
Apple watch Ultra 2
Apple is coming out with a new version of the Apple Watch Ultra this year. It too will have the same chips as those of the Apple Series 9. However, this model does even have a 3000 nits screen, even more brightness.

iPhone 15
After the Apple Watch models, it is time for the iPhone 15. What is immediately noticeable is that the regular models now have the Dynamic Island. A feature we previously saw on the 14 Pro.
In addition, the 15 gets an OLED Super Retina XDR display. This one has a brightness of 2000 nits. Moreover, that screen is also stronger with the ceramic shield. You choose from the 6.1-inch regular iPhone 15 or 6.7-inch for the 15 Plus. The phone is available in pink, yellow, green, blue and black.

The new camera system has a 48 MP main camera. There is also a 12 MP telephoto lens on the back. Even in the dark, you should be able to take great pictures with this. Colors are even richer, according to Apple.
Apple has also been working on portrait mode. You no longer have to slide for this; the phone automatically knows when you’re taking a portrait. Even with dogs and cats. In addition, you also have focus and depth control. Here you can switch where the depth should be even after the photo is taken. Colors should also come out even better in the updated night mode.
The iPhone 15 will get the A16 chip you already know from the 14 Pro. The battery should last a full day. The one from the 15 Plus has an even bigger battery, which will make it last longer.
USB-C
The iPhone 15 has the second-generation ultra-wideband chip. This allows it to communicate with other devices even easier. Even from 3 times farther away than the previous model could. Because the device recognizes your voice even better, phone calls are also improved. It is also possible to make calls with voice isolation.

iPhone 15 Pro
Instead of stainless steel, the new iPhone 15 Pro is now made of titanium, which you know from the Ultra. Apple chose titanium for the iPhone 15 Pro because it is strong, durable and lightweight.
In addition, this 15 Pro also has the action button that was long speculated about. It replaces the slider on the side. You can still use it to put your phone on silent. However, you now also have access to multiple functions for which you use the button. Think of recording a voice memo.

The new A17 chip
Under the hood of the iPhone 15 Pro you will find the A17 chip. This has 19 billion transistors. It is the first 3nm chip in a phone. The CPU has 6-performance cores that are 10 percent faster than its predecessor. The neural engine is even 2 times faster. The new GPU has 6 cores that is 20 percent faster than its predecessor.
The USB-C port has a speed of 10 GB per second. That provides 20 times more transfer than USBC 2.
The Pro measures 6.1 inches and the Pro Max measures 6.7 inches. It has thinner screen bezels than its predecessor. Apple also says the device has the strongest screen on the entire market.
