Apple is internally testing a new version of iOS 17, which means you can expect a new iPhone update soon.
If all goes well, your iPhone will soon receive the iOS 17.3.1 update. This version, discovered by MacRumors editors, will not bring many changes.
Since this is a .1 update, as an iPhone user you can mainly expect a small load of bug fixes and improvements.
New version of iOS 17 fixes issues
The data that MacRumors manages to gather regularly is usually quite accurate, so there is a good chance that we can expect something in this area next week.
Apple released iOS 16.3.1 on Feb. 13, 2023, and iOS 15.3.1 was released on Feb. 10, 2022. So the chance that we can expect something next week, during the week of Feb. 12, is pretty high.

As mentioned, you don’t have to count on a whole lot of new features for your iPhone. Apple mainly focuses on some minor problems and vulnerabilities. So this is mainly a security update.

In March, the iPhone will be truly different
Although Apple is not doing much big thing next week, as an iPhone user you won’t be short of anything in the coming time. In March, the American company will release iOS 17.4, which will provide a lot of change.
This update includes a transcribe feature for Apple Podcasts, SharePlay for the HomePods, new emoji and preparation for the next generation of Apple CarPlay, among others. But of course, that’s not the biggest change.
The Digital Markets Act, a European Union legislation, requires Apple to officially open up the iPhone. Starting in March, the App Store will no longer be the only place for users in Europe to download apps for the smartphone.
