Think you can only use Philips Hue in the garden and living room and bedroom? Then you’re wrong. You can also just choose to pimp your gaming room. For example, the company has now developed a gradient light strip that will make gamers especially happy. The new light strip, which you stick on the back of your monitor, lights up with the action on the screen, creating a completely new gaming experience. Three different sizes are available and the strip itself is flexible. So it always fits.
Do you have a Corsair monitor? Then you’re in extra luck. Together with the company, Philips has developed Hue iCUE so that you can set the scenes specifically for the lamps. This should give you an even better experience than you already have without that program.
Customizations to the app
The Philips Hue app is also getting quite a few new features. The current mobile sync box app will be merged with the Hue app in the fourth quarter of this year. This should make it possible to get the full entertainment experience in one app. This way you no longer need another app to control the box.

But it’s not just in the Philips Hue app that things get a little more streamlined. You can also use Philips Hue through the Samsung SmartThings app. This lets you sync the lights with the music on your Galaxy phone.
