There are few games on earth bigger than Call of Duty. So it makes sense that many people are eagerly awaiting the new Warzone game for iPhone and Android. That today’s news brings many disappointed faces is probably also understandable.
Whereas previously you could pre-order Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, for example in the App Store, the game’s arrival has suddenly been postponed. And not so little too.
New Call of Duty Warzone disappoints
Where May 2023 should be the time when Activision Publishing releases its Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, fans of the franchise seem to have been deceived. After previously letting the developer pre-order the game, today it sent those folks a rather embarrassing email.
“The email from the App Store reads, ‘Thank you for pre-ordering Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.’ We want to let you know that the developer, Activision Publishing, has moved the launch date.'”
November 1, 2023
We’re sorry to report this, but here goes: “The game is expected to be released on Nov. 1, 2023. Whew!
While it’s always good when a developer delays the launch of a game to give gamers the perfect experience, it’s obviously quite embarrassing that it’s happening at this stage, especially considering the enthusiasm surrounding Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is particularly high.

The reason behind the delay
So we know that the much-anticipated Warzone game for iPhone and Android is thus, for now, still on hold. And frankly, that’s really all we know. Neither the App Store nor developer Activision Publishing comes up with a clear explanation.
That’s unfortunate, but certainly keep in mind that the developer wants to provide its fans with the ultimate Call of Duty experience. Likewise, Hogwarts Legacy featured several disappointments, but that ultimately ensured that we got the experience of a lifetime.
So have patience, my friends.
