This hidden setting makes your PlayStation 5 games shine.
The PlayStation 5’s game catalog already consists largely of breathtakingly beautiful games. Especially when you pair the console with a decent OLED television. But these small settings, perfect the Playstation 5’s already masterful image.
HGiG and HDR combo
The first setting comes down to seeing if your television supports HGiG. That’s a setting on the TV that causes the screen to use the colors the game makers intended.

Variable Refresh Rate
The second setting is again found on your television. This time it is the VRR setting. If your TV supports and thus has this setting, we recommend that you enable it.
VRR stands for Variable Refresh Rate. When you turn this on, the television eliminates as much of the screen’s choppiness as possible. This gives you a smoother picture than when you don’t have the setting turned on.
