Samsung has been working like crazy lately to roll out Android 12, Google’s latest operating system, to its smartphones. Where previously the S models and foldable devices were provided, it is now time for another popular series.
Samsung is using its own version of Android 12 on its smartphones for that matter. Those who want to update their smartphone via Settings -> Software Update can expect the One UI 4.0 software in the display.
Samsung rolls out Android 12 further
While Samsung has been busy rolling out Android 12 for flagships recently, other popular series were skipped. Especially consumers with midrange smartphones from the company made themselves heard lately. Fortunately for these people, they are being served by the South Korean company and, if all goes well, will soon be able to get started.

Via SamMobile, it becomes clear that the first smartphone in the Samsung Galaxy A series has been provided with the update. According to insiders, people in Russia with a Galaxy A72 have the pleasure of being among the first to get started with One UI 4.0. That means the update will soon be rolled out to more devices in more regions.
That’s faster than expected, by the way, because the S series wouldn’t have actually been up until February of this year. So that update was already implemented in December last year, and now it seems that Samsung Galaxy A smartphones will also be provided earlier. A pleasant development for fans of the company.
Many devices get the update
Unlike Apple with iOS, with Google it always takes a while before all smartphones are equipped with the latest software. That’s not surprising considering there are far more devices that need to be updated to Android 12 than, say, iOS 15. Fortunately, there are more and more companies that sell the software for the devices in their lineup.
